With a vision to improving driver safety and cutting emissions, we have announced our partnership with global autonomous driving technology TuSimple. This comes with the purpose of equipping our fleet with advanced autonomous driving systems, based on a world-class global vehicle platform produced by Navistar. With 41 trucks already in operation in the USA, our addition of 50 improved efficiency TuSimple-equipped trucks by 2025 will more than double our fleet.

This partnership demonstrates our intention to offer advanced and innovative solutions that both address the ongoing driver shortage and lower greenhouse gas emissions, with the added benefits of improving vehicle and environmental safety. Early studies show that autonomous trucks in TuSimple’s Autonomous Freight Network (AFN) have the potential to reduce fuel consumption for middle mile transportation.
