Hegelmann Group’s Driver Academy provides comprehensive training to our drivers, to enhance their skills and knowledge. The training covers critical areas such as CMR, road tolls, correct operation of cargo boxes, pallet handling, trailer transfer, inventory management, fuel management, insurance claims, tachograph operation, load securing and positioning, and eco-driving.It also provides drivers with self-study materials which cover the transportation of pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs, and tractor documentation.    
In 2022, a total of 1,261 drivers underwent training, with 1,231 successfully passing their tests. As part of our commitment to maintaining high standards, drivers who are already working for the company are required to take the exams to confirm their qualifications. In 2022, 1,513 drivers took confirmation of qualification exams, with a 97.75% pass rate.    
It is also important to note that we require each driver to have proof of passing Code 95, in addition to the testing administered by the Driver Academy. We take pride in our drivers’ achievements and remain committed to their continued training and development.
